Treat yourself to an evening of guided relaxation! Join us for the perfect blend of mellow movement, soothing breath practices, and deep rest via yoga nidra. After releasing tension in the body with a gentle yoga and breath practice, we will enjoy a deeply restful yoga nidra (conscious sleep) practice.  Bring a friend and, together, we'll cultivate greater well-being in body and mind at this stress-busting event! $30 if registered by 12:00pm on 9/3. $35 thereafter. Members save 10%.

MEDITATION: BEFRIENDING YOUR BUSY MIND

Join us for a 60-minute exploration of meditation. We’ll:

  • enjoy a gentle, mindful moving meditation practice

  • learn and practice seated and reclined meditation techniques to befriend and ease the busy mind

  • illuminate the modern-day science behind how meditation practices cultivate more ease, happiness, and focus in daily life.

Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of meditation’s impact on the mind and practices to incorporate into their wellness routine.

BREATHE: EXPLORING THE HEALING POWER OF PRANAYAMA

Join us for a 60-minute deep dive into the healing power of your breath. We’ll:

  • explore gentle movement designed to open up space in the body to breathe with more ease

  • learn time-tested pranayama practices to shift the breath and, thereby, the mind

  • gain an understanding of the modern-day science demonstrating how these techniques work

Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the breath’s impact on the body and a toolkit of pranayama exercises to access any time to shift your energy. This class is available online or in person.

YOGA FOR RESILIENCE: PRACTICES FOR INNER STRENGTH

Yoga has long been utilized as a path to inner strength and stability in the midst of ever-changing circumstances. Join us for a 60-minute exploration of breath, movement, and meditation to develop our sense of resilience. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to work with the nervous system to stay centered no matter what obstacles arise. We’ll:

  • learn about the inner workings of your nervous system, including the sympathetic and parasympathetic wings of the nervous system

  • gain tools to integrate into daily life to facilitate better adaptability in toggling between rev and rest to appropriately meet the demands of the moment

  • experience the power of a balanced nervous system
