Unite mind & body

Something that is so special about yoga as a movement practice is that it invites us to unite mind and body in the present moment. Oftentimes, when we are stressed, our body is in one place, while the mind is somewhere else entirely. This mismatch leads to tension and disconnection.

Yoga, on the other hand, challenges us to stay fully present, mind immersed in the current sensations of breath and body, training us to stay grounded even when we step off our mats, into life and our interactions with others. So, let's shift from tension to connection with movement and breath, all in good community.
